ABOUT BRUMBY HEADQUARTERS

At Brumby headquarters, we offer kids of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity for growth on new skills and existing. Our program is designed for campers to promote independence and self-confidence all while making new friends and learning exciting new skills. Days are orginized to give children a well rounded equine education, that includes hands-on horse care, as well as western riding. Camp is focused on the arena, indoor and outdoor. Every day the kids will be learning new skills and working on the skills they know. To find out more and to discover if our Horse Riding Camp is a good fit for your child, please read on or get in touch with us.

OUR PROGRAM

Beginner day camp

Beginner sessions are for those who have never ridden before, or who have only ridden a few times. Beginner horseback riders will learn to start, stop, and steer, and to control their horses at a walk/trot as well as Practice new skills through horseback games and drills in the arena. Ages 8-11
Our camp dates are:  July 5-8th 9:30-3:30   August 1-4th 9:30-3:30     $400

Intermediate day camp

Intermediate session is For riders who have completed at least two weeks of horse camp or taken riding lessons – campers must be able to independently control a horse at a walk. You’ll learn new skills in the arena and expand your knowledge of horses through the saddle. 
Ages 11-17
Our camp dates are:July 11-14th, July 25-28th, aug 8-11th, aug 22-25th. $475

Advanced day camp

For experienced riders who can confidently control a horse at a walk, trot, and lope. When ready, advanced riders will try some saddled activities bareback, and controlling at a lope. 
Our camp dates are: July 18-21st, aug 15-18th. $525

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 

*Helmet is required, 1" heel on riding boots, as well as a HCBC membership. Bring your horse, tack, hoofpick, and brush. Pack a lunch, bring water bottle(s) for your day and a water bucket for your horse. 

Horse boarding is available for an additional fee during your registration camp participation. On-site camper parking can be arranged for the duration of your registered camp. There will be no hookups or fires.

Full payment due upon registration, non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person for the same camp. We accept cash upon registration or e-transfer sent to brumbyriding@gmail.com
